TerraGraphics International Foundation (TIFO) is a small Idaho nonprofit doing big, life-saving work — protecting children and communities from the oftentimes invisible dangers of pollution, on multiple continents and right here at home.

Every time you use a smartphone, drive a car, or charge a device, you rely on materials extracted from the earth. That extraction has costs — and the people who pay those costs most dearly are often among the world's most vulnerable.

TIFO is a nonprofit born in Idaho with a global reach. We go where we're invited, assess the damage, build partnerships with local communities and governments, and help design lasting solutions grounded in rigorous science and deep respect for community self-determination.

We are not anti-mining. We are pro-community — helping people protect their health, their land, and their future, whether they support or oppose extraction in their region.
