Gift Card Terms and Conditions

As a supporter of an organization utilizing the online fundraising platform and tools provided by ShopRaise (including but not limited to non-profit organizations) (each such organization, an “Organization”), your purchases of gift cards (the “Products”) through the Site are intended to support your selected Organization. All prices posted on or accessed through this Site are subject to change without notice. The price charged for Products will be the price in effect at the time the Products are ordered and will be set out in your order confirmation email. Posted prices do not include credit card processing or ACH transfer fees (“Processing Fees”). ShopRaise may pass along the cost of Processing Fees to you. These Processing Fees will be clearly stated on the payment screen prior to checkout. The Processing Fees are charged as follows: 2.4% of the total purchase plus $0.30 per transaction for credit card transactions and $0.35 per transfer for ACH transfers. These transfer and transaction fees are subject to change without notice although they will, in each case, be clearly stated on the payment screen prior to checkout.
ShopRaise strives to display accurate price information, however, ShopRaise may, on occasion, make inadvertent typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to pricing and/or availability of Products. ShopRaise reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time and to cancel any orders arising from such occurrences.
Orders for Products, including both new electronic gift cards and reloads of previously purchased physical gift cards that are paid for with a Linked Bank Account or a credit card, whether or not linked,, will be processed automatically. You will receive an email from ShopRaise with a link to any applicable gift card numbers and details on how to redeem your card. You may also be able to access your gift card through the ShopRaise gift card wallet, (where available) accessible through the Site and/or ShopRaise mobile app and/or browser extension
If your order has not been processed  business days after your order was placed, ShopRaise will automatically initiate a request for a refund and will use commercially reasonable efforts to obtain a cancellation and refund of your order from the gift card issuing Merchant. Upon ShopRaise’s receipt of such refund, ShopRaise will provide you with a refund through the same means of payment that you used to order the Products. Notwithstanding the foregoing, unless and to the extent required under applicable law, ShopRaise does not offer refunds for Product purchases.
5. TERMS OF SERVICE FOR LINKED BANK ACCOUNTS
You may have the option to link a bank account to your ShopRaise account (where available). We have partnered with Plaid, a financial services software company (“Plaid”), to allow you to purchase Products by making payments for Products from your chosen bank account (each such account, a “Linked Bank Account”).
The set-up process for establishing an account with Plaid includes an enrollment process involving verification of your bank account information. When you pay with a Linked Bank Account, ShopRaise will debit the Linked Bank Account in the amount set forth on the payment screen, which may include Processing Fees.
Your bank account information is stored by Plaid; it is not stored by ShopRaise. Your account information is not directly accessible by ShopRaise except to process purchases of Products expressly initiated by you. ShopRaise does not store or have access to your bank account information other than for the limited purpose of processing payments made by you via your Linked Bank Account.
6. TERMS OF SERVICE FOR LINKED CREDIT CARDS
You may have the option to link a credit card to your ShopRaise account (where available). ShopRaise has partnered with Stripe as our credit card processor. In order to link a credit card to your account, you will go through a verification process. During this process ShopRaise will place a small charge on your credit card. You will verify your account by looking up the value of the charge initiated by ShopRaise on your credit card account and entering that value into the verification field on your ShopRaise account. Once your credit card account is verified, or if more than 7 days has passed, the charge will be refunded to you.
Your credit card information is stored by Stripe; it is not stored by ShopRaise. Your account information is not directly accessible by ShopRaise except to process purchases of Products expressly initiated through your ShopRaise account. ShopRaise does not store or have access to your credit card information other than for the limited purpose of processing payments made by you via credit card.
7. YOUR OBLIGATIONS; SHOPRAISE RESTRICTIONS ON YOUR USE AND ACESS TO THE PRODUCTS
You agree not to place any orders for Products without having funds available to pay for the cost of the Products, including any applicable Processing Fees. You agree to pay for any orders for Products, including any applicable Processing Fees that you place regardless of means of payment. You agree that any errors in order amounts for Products entered into our system, through no fault of ShopRaise, are solely your responsibility. You agree to provide such further financial or identity confirmation information as reasonably requested by ShopRaise in order to fulfill your order for any Products or as may be required by law. A maximum of $250 in Products may be ordered by you each day. This maximum may be changed at any time at ShopRaise’s sole discretion, with or without notice to you.
You are required to promptly notify us of any problems you may have with the Site, Services, and/or Products as well as any suspected or known fraud, theft, or other criminal activity (whether attempted or actual) associated with any Organization, including its fundraising program or the Site and Services.
ShopRaise reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, temporarily suspend or deactivate your account, or to permanently close your account. We also reserve the right to refuse to provide Products or Services to anyone, for any reason or no reason, and at any time, with or without notice.
